If you’ve been following my adventures, you know I have a soft spot for waterfalls and hidden gems that are just a few hours away from the city. Recently, I discovered a place that feels like a secret garden tucked away in Luisiana, Laguna: Pilgrims Dream Eco Farm.
It’s not just a farm—it’s a nature sanctuary that houses the enchanting Dream Falls. If you’re looking to escape the Manila hustle for a weekend of green therapy, this is it. Here’s everything you need to know to plan your trip!
🚌 How to Get There from Metro Manila
One of the best things about this spot is how accessible it is via public transport. You don't need a 4x4 or a private car to find this paradise.
Step 1: Bus to Santa Cruz, Laguna Head to the DLTB or HM Transport terminals in Cubao or Buendia (Gil Puyat). Board a bus bound for Santa Cruz, Laguna.
Travel time: Approximately 2–3 hours depending on traffic.
Step 2: Jeepney to Luisiana Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Santa Cruz, look for the jeepney terminal. You want to catch a jeep bound for Lucban or Luisiana.
Tell the driver you want to be dropped off at Pilgrims Dream Eco Farm (or landmark Aliw Falls, as they are in the same vicinity along the Cavinti-Luisiana Road).
Travel time: About 30–45 minutes.
Step 3: Tricycle or Walk The entrance is usually accessible from the main road, but depending on how much gear you have, you can walk or take a quick tricycle ride if available at the drop-off point.
🍃 Things to Do at Pilgrims Dream Eco Farm
This place is a "choose your own adventure" destination. Whether you want to hike or just sit by the water, they have you covered.
1. Chase "Dream Falls" The star of the show! Located right inside the eco-farm, Dream Falls is a stunning cascade that feels incredibly private compared to other crowded spots in Laguna. The water is refreshing, and the surrounding foliage makes it picture-perfect.
2. Nature Trails & Forest Bathing The farm is massive and lush. Take a walk through their trails, enjoy the fresh air, and practice a little Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). It’s remarkably quiet here, making it perfect for meditation or just disconnecting from social media.
3. Swimming Aside from the natural waterfall, there are designated swimming areas where you can take a dip and cool off.
4. Picnicking and Camping You can rent cottages for the day or set up a picnic. If you’re into camping, they have designated grounds where you can pitch a tent and sleep under the stars.

.Crossroads Haven Farm (Luisiana)
Vibe: If you want to keep the "farm stay" theme going, this is a great alternative. It’s rustic, peaceful, and offers a great breakfast.
Recommendations: We loved the atmosphere and experience. The farm tour was great and staff was wonderful. We weren't aware that rooms are not connected (one was a ways off), but they were accomodating and we enjoyed our stay.

Vibe: Located in the neighboring town of Cavinti, this is a full-service resort with a pool and plenty of activities. Great for families or larger groups.
Recommendation: Great and so relaxing place, staff is good and accommodating. Beautiful view of pool for kids and adult, the room is big, I think the aircon needs to be clean. Totally good stay and experience. Thank you."
