If you feel like Nagtabon Beach is getting a bit too crowded, it’s time to head further north. Nestled in the west coast of Puerto Princesa is Pak-Pak Lauin, also widely known as Tala Beach. It is a raw, untouched paradise perfect for those who want to disconnect (literally—there’s almost no signal here!).
Whether you’re a local on a weekend road trip or a tourist looking for off-the-beaten-path Palawan destinations, Pak-Pak Lauin is the serene sanctuary you’ve been searching for.

How to Get to Pak-Pak Lauin (Tala Beach)
Pak-Pak Lauin is located in Sitio Talaudyong, Brgy. Bacungan, about 40–45 kilometers from Puerto Princesa city center.
By Motorbike/Car: The drive takes about 60 to 90 minutes. Follow the road toward Brgy. Bacungan and Nagtabon. Instead of turning left to Nagtabon, keep going straight toward Talaudyong. The road is scenic, paved, and offers stunning views of the West Philippine Sea.
From Astoria Palawan: If you are staying at Astoria Palawan, you are in luck! This is the nearest luxury resort, and they often provide shuttle services or day tours to this specific beach.
Private Van Hire: You can book a "Beach Hopping" tour in the city that combines Nagtabon and Pak-Pak Lauin.
Entrance Fees & Booking Info
Entrance Fee: ₱100 per person (Weekdays) | ₱120 (Weekends/Holidays).
Parking: Usually around ₱20–₱50.
How to Book: For day trips, no booking is required. It is a public-access beach with private sections. If you want to reserve a cottage in advance, it’s best to message their Facebook page, though walk-ins are usually fine.

Where to Stay: Pak-Pak Lauin Accommodations
If you want to experience the "off-the-grid" life for more than a day, here are the best places to stay in the Talaudyong/Bacungan area:
Pak-Pak Lauin Beach Boarding Right on the beach! They offer rustic, basic "boarding" rooms and designated camping areas. This is the best choice if you want to wake up exactly where the waves hit the shore.
Villa Skanderbeg Guest House (Talaudyong) The most popular choice in the area. It offers a more "homestay" feel with air-conditioned rooms and a very short walk to the Pak-Pak Lauin beachfront.
Tupi’s Haven Resort Located nearby in the Nagtabon/Bacungan area, Tupi’s is great for those who want a "glamping" or cottage vibe while being central to both famous beaches.

Blue Moon Guesthouse A budget-friendly option located in the hills of Brgy. Bacungan. It’s perfect for travelers who have their own transport and want a quiet base camp.
Astoria Palawan For those who want luxury. While it's about an hour away, it’s the best high-end accommodation nearby that actively promotes and provides access to Pak-Pak Lauin.
Pro-Tip: Bring your own food and drinks! While there are small sari-sari stores, the options are limited. Also, don't forget to pack out your trash—let's keep this hidden gem pristine!
