One of the most festive locations in Manila, Rockwell, has opened the tents for this season’s Christmas finds. The Travelling Foxes paid a visit earlier today to see what’s in store for this season.
What: Christmas at Rockwell 2016 Where: Hidalgo Drive, Makati, Metro Manila When: December 15 – 23
With the unpredictable weather, the fully air-conditioned Christmas at Rockwell bazaar made the shopping experience enjoyable. Aside from the fully enclosed venue, the bazaar was well organized and had a wide variety of stalls. This made the shopping experience really delightful, and I was able to get my Kris Kringle within the first 10-minutes of shopping. While looking around for Christmas gifts, The Travelling Foxes selected three of their best stalls from this year’s fair:
1. Jim Weaver
Jim Weaver’s bright colors and artsy stall got our attention from a distance. The artistic scarves are a good match for multiple personalities; from a vivid colored Scarlett scarf to a dark and high contrast Arya scarf, there’s definitely a good pick for one of your relatives or friends. Scarves cost Php 3,500 (USD $70). To see the different scarves they now have available, visit their shop here.
2. One 4 The Road
A travel shop is something that is eye-catchy for the Travelling Foxes! One 4 The Road had a wide range of planners, scratch maps, travel bags, passport covers, travel books and many more. It is a go-to store for all travellers, and a good place to find a gift for a friend who always wanted to go on their first adventure. With the new year coming up, a 2017 travel diary might come in handy! For orders of more than Php 2,900 (USD $58), the offer free shipping. Visit their website here.

3. Pulseras by Kim
A bazaar is never complete without the trinkets! We found Pulseras by Kim to have a wide variety of trinkets and jewelry, and the option to have the items customizable definitely made it a great option for a Christmas gift! Products range from bracelets, necklaces and rings, and prices are around Php300 (USD $6) to Php800 (USD $16). Natasha even got herself a necklace from here! You can see a list of their items by visiting their website.
The Christmas at Rockwell bazaar is this season’s go-to place for a quick Christmas gift find. There is a wide variety of gift options for children, for pets, for relatives and for friends. The bazaar also has a range of food options, so if you happen to be in Powerplant mall on the days of the bazaar, it would be an option for a good meal rather than going to the usual restaurants in the area.
This year’s annual Power Plant Mall Christmas Raffle gives you a chance to win a ROVER! To find out more, visit Power Plant Mall’s Official Facebook page.
